This Kit offers a fast and cost-effective way to develop embedded applications using common serial communications and Ethernet. The WoB Kit comes with a mainboard fitted on a development board. PCC's WoB MainBoard^TM  is the high performance CPU board. PCC's WoB Development Board^TM is a compact interface hardware with an outline of just 4,55 x 4,55cm, and can be connected directly to personal computers or networks.
The Network Operating System HyNetOS ^TM, supplied within the CPU of WoB MainBoard^TM, offers a Protocol Manager, a File Manager, a Device Manager with a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and various related system functions.

Supported protocols and features of HyNetOS^® are:

     �� ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP

     �� File system (RAM disk, flash disk, memory cards)

     �� HTTP client and server incl. SSL

     �� FTP client and server and Telnet server

     �� Java^TM Virtual Machine (J2ME/CLDC)

     �� JPEG compression and decompression

     �� Real-Time Ethernet Protocols  

Supported device drivers in HyNetOS^® are:

     �� UART, SPI, SSI, I²C, CAN, RS232, RS485

     �� Parallel ports (IEEE1284, FIFO, Dual-Ported RAM)

     �� 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet, USB device and host

  �� Epson LCD graphics controllers, various CMOS

Kit Contents

The Kit comes complete with hardware, HyNetOS operating system including development and administration tools, many demo examples in source code and complete documentation. As a host PC (not part of the kit) any PC with Microsoft Windows (98/ME/NT/2000/XP) is suitable

Supplied Hardware:

          ��  1 WoB MainBoard attached on development board.

          ��  1 WoB Development Kit Board, along with a power supply, 1 RJ45 Ethernet jack, two RS232 ports (one is debug port), a USB host port, an RS485 port, Real-time clock.

          ��  1 9V DC power supply.

          ��  1 ethernet (Cat5) cable, 1 serial (RS232) cable.

  ��  1 crossover (100BaseT) cable, 1 USB A to A male cable.

Supplied Software (CD included):

          ��   HyNetOS with all extensions including an unlimited evaluation license.

          ��   Complete set of development tools including C-Compiler, Assembler, Linker, Library Manager and Debugger.

          ��   Complete set of Ethernet administration tools for loading, tracing, configuration and flash disk formatting.

          ��   Full version of hyDebug ^® v1.07 debugger IDE supplied by Hyperstone.
